Stefan Emming, PhD

A PhD-qualified scientist with over a decade of hands-on laboratory experience, Stefan completed his PhD in Switzerland, working on transcriptional regulation mechanisms of human T-cells in an autoimmune context, before moving to Australia for a postdoctoral position at the University of Queensland. Having secured a prestigious ARC DECRA fellowship to investigate innate immune receptors in macrophages, Stefan has developed deep technical proficiency in various immunological assays. Driven by a commitment to translational science, Stefan joined the Immunoassays team to perform opsonophagocytic killing assay testing at GPN Vaccines.
