Professor Peter Richmond

Advisory Board

Professor Richmond is Head of the Department of Immunology and Consultant Paediatric Immunologist and Paediatrician at Perth Children’s Hospital, and Head of Paediatrics at the University of Western Australia. He also leads the Vaccine Trials Group at Telethon Kids Institute who undertake clinical trials, epidemiological and laboratory research in infectious disease. Professor Richmond’s major research interests are the evaluation of new vaccines designed to prevent bacterial and viral infections in the paediatric population and understanding protective immunity infectious disease in young children.
