Nerissa Lakhan, PhD

Nerissa Lakhan started her career in the paediatric vaccine research space at Vaccinology and Immunology Research Trials Unit (VIRTU). She completed her PhD in Medicine at the University of Adelaide looking at developing immunotherapies for neonatal sepsis and associated neuroinflammation at the Robinson Research Institute. Nerissa moved into the clinical trial space at one of Australia’s largest and most experienced phase I & II clinical trial centres, CMAX Clinical Research. She has managed trials across a range of therapeutic areas and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience in early phase clinical trials.
