Mohammed Alsharifi, PhD

A Founding Director of GPN Vaccines, and a leading expert in the use of gamma-irradiation to inactivate viral and bacterial pathogens for vaccine purposes. Mohammed is an Associate Professor at Adelaide University and Head of Vaccine Research Group at the School of Biological Sciences. He was a Chief Investigator on the ARC Linkage grant that led to the development of the Gamma-PN vaccine program and the NHMRC Development Grant that supported its final preclinical development. Mohammed is also a Founding Director and the Chief Scientific Officer of Gamma Vaccines Ltd.
