Lauren Giorgio, PHD GAICD
ManagementLauren brings valuable experience in intellectual property management, business development, stakeholder engagement, commercialisation and operations in the life sciences sector. She has spent her career working alongside world-leading academics and clinicians to commercialise medical research. She led the Business Development Office at the Centre for Eye Research Australia and prior to this, was part of the Business Development team at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. Lauren is a Co-Founder of WILD for STEM and holds several governance positions including with the Adelaide Economic Development Agency and South Australian Department of Primary Industries and Regions. She has a PhD in molecular biology from the University of Adelaide and is a Graduate from the Australian Institue of Company Directors.
