Elizabeth Tran, PhD

In her role as Principal Scientist, Elizabeth oversees the opsonophagocytic killing assay testing at GPN Vaccines. She has over 15 years of experience researching bacterial pathogens and managing a PC2 infectious disease lab. Elizabeth brings extensive technical expertise on molecular techniques and tissue culture, with a strong interest in bacterial-host interactions. She also has a publication track record in microbiology & cancer research, a PhD in Biological Science (University of Adelaide), and an Honours degree in Laboratory Medicine (AIMS accredited, University of South Australia).
